When I was in London years ago I was told to avoid the underground at night! I was only told after someone tried to mug me and my girlfriend at the time!

i remember being amazed at how clean, well lit and apparently safe the underground was when i was in london, at least compared to new york city's subway system. i never thought twice about my safety when i was in london except when we were on the elevator in our hotel the second time there. i have no idea how that one past inspection.

i'm up for it! what an excellent xmas party too...

Does anyone know what time the Marquee closes or if Ginger's party will move on to some other late night establishment!!!!???

Seems pointless booking into a hotel if we're likly to be out all night.Thinking about get the coach back in the early hours.

The majority of London nightclubs have to shut around 3am, but it's worth checking with them. If it's not a club night, it may shut early, i.e. 11ish.
